What iQuit is

iQuit is a series of self-help apps that offer a 30-day plan, short lessons, check-ins, tools for cravings and progress tracking to help you quit a habit. The apps are made by Esquyna Labs.

Not medical treatment

iQuit is a support program. It is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and it does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. It does not replace a doctor, a therapist or a treatment service.

• Stopping alcohol or some substances suddenly can be dangerous. If you drink heavily or use daily, talk to a doctor before you stop.
• If you are in crisis or thinking about hurting yourself, call your local emergency number or a crisis line right now. The apps list help lines by country.
• Health information in the apps is general and is based on the sources we cite. It may not fit your situation.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to use iQuit. The apps are not intended for minors.

Your license to use the apps

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps on your own devices for your own non-commercial purposes. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or misuse the apps, and not to bypass their security or purchase controls.

Subscriptions, trials and purchases

Core support tools, including the SOS for cravings, are free. Premium features are unlocked with a paid plan.

• Plans and prices are shown inside the app, in your local currency, before you buy. Plans may be a subscription (for example monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime unlock.
• Some plans include a free trial. The length is shown before you start. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and the store charges you.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge.
• Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase, and again at each renewal.
• To cancel, open the subscription settings of your store account (App Store: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Google Play: Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot process refunds for purchases made in their stores.
• You can restore an earlier purchase inside the app with Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple or Google account and to the anonymous identifier described in the Privacy Policy.
• Prices and offers can change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

Apple terms

If you download the app from the Apple App Store, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, or for support and maintenance.

Your content and your data

What you write in the app belongs to you and stays on your device. We do not receive it. How we handle anonymous usage data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Use the apps lawfully and in good faith. Do not use them to harm others, to attack the service, or to break the law.

Our content

The apps, the method, the texts, the design and the brand belong to Esquyna Labs or its licensors and are protected by law. Third-party names and sources are cited for reference and belong to their owners.

Disclaimers

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep them accurate and running, but we do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or that you will reach your goal. Results depend on many things that are outside our control.

Limit of liability

To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, Esquyna Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the apps, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law says cannot be limited, including consumer rights.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms or the apps. When the change is material we will tell you in the app or on this page. You can stop using the apps at any time. We may suspend access if you seriously breach these terms.
